This is an 80 x 60 inch vintage blanket likey from the 1960s . It features astranaughts , rockets , parachutes , moons and stars and was likely produced as a children's novelty blanket . It feels to be wool , is woven and is whip stitched at each end . It has no tag to identify it which may have come off over the years . Research suggests that this is a rare beacon blanket but I cannot find a similar one online to confirms this . It has been well loved and there are the odd little marks as pictured and it needs a little tlc to look its best but there are no holes and no large stains .
